Takeru Takemoto, a lazy and irresponsible high school student, though not devoid of a sense of humor and kindness, lives a calm and dull life. His daily routine consists of the swimming club, a part-time job as a courier, interactions with his best friend who is also in the club, and regular reprimands from his cousin for his carelessness. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when, during one of his deliveries, he sees a light emerging from the forest. The events that follow unfold rapidly, as Takeru comes across a young girl in the forest and is immediately confronted by a massive creature that shouldn't be there.
