Two close friends, the caterpillars Yellow and Red, seem to have bad luck when it comes to their living conditions. Born in beautiful green foliage, they later lived in a sewer drain, found themselves in the dangerous human world, and finally ended up in a relatively comfortable human home. However, their troubles continue as the homeowners unexpectedly move, and the house is demolished. Once again, the unlucky caterpillars face the dangerous streets, encountering whales, flying fish, and seagulls in a series of random events. Their new home becomes the streets of New York City, which is known for its inhospitable weather, dangerous neighborhoods, and dirty alleyways. The persistent caterpillars will have to experience the unpleasant aspects of the Big Apple firsthand.
