Chung, a native of Taiwan, was able to fulfill her American dream: she moved to the USA, where she met a charming local guy named Anthony, acquired a spacious house, and found a job in an office. However, at some point, she began waking up every day from strange dreams, after which she felt exhausted all day. Perhaps these were prophetic dreams, as her beloved grandmother had passed away, and her relatives finally managed to contact her with this sad news. Upon receiving this tragic news, Chung immediately packed her bags and flew back to her homeland. The woman once again found herself on the so familiar, though greatly changed, Happiness Street 168, where memories of her childhood and youth flooded over her like a river. Under the heavy emotional pressure, Chung pondered the meaning of life and the significance of happiness and her native home in it. The woman perfectly understands that she has fulfilled her dream, but her life is somehow not the same: down-to-earth and monotonous, complex. And Chung very much hopes that the change of scenery will help her find answers, figure out herself, and perhaps even find that very happiness.
