Люк Скайуокер's childhood friend. Deserted from the Imperial army and joined the Rebel Alliance, during the Rebellion he piloted a T-65 X-wing starfighter. Died in the attack on the Death Star: he became a "living shield" between the Imperials and Skywalker and was shot down by Darth Vader.
