Такико's father was involved in the translation of the "Universe of the Four Gods". However, after the book's translation, Takiko became a priestess of Genbū. Eīnosuke could read about her adventures, experiencing his daughter's feelings. Whenever she periodically returned to her world, he apologized and explained that he never regretted that she was a girl, and also did not forget to mention his desire to use the power of the book to heal his ailing wife. When Takiko returned for the second time, Eīnosuke, finding that he was suffering from tuberculosis, tried to destroy the book. In the original story, Eīnosuke is forced to kill Takiko so that she would not suffer from the Genbū that was consuming her from within, and then himself. Realizing that the book cannot be destroyed, he entrusts the "Universe of the Four Gods" to his friend Takao Ōsugi.
