Харухико Китаваки

One of the children of the owner of a traveling troupe performing with puppets. While traveling the country, he meets Kinuka Hidaka. Seven years after his father's death, Haruhiko works independently and supports his sister, Natsumi. Receiving a letter from his brother Yukihiko, who ran away from home, he accepts an invitation to visit him. After a puppet named Jean-Pierre flew into a rage and killed Kinuko, Haruhiko breaks Jean-Pierre, thus stopping the movement of all the puppets in Yukihiko's house.
