The main character of the story is the former crown prince Karr La Gir of the Ballesteros Empire, which was destroyed during the "Wind Revolution". As a child, he lived in luxury and was very close to his mother, although he had little interaction with his parents. Karr-El was still quite young when the "Wind Revolution" began, and the entire empire fell in a single day after an attack by the El Aquila ship sent by the prince of the neighboring kingdom of Ameriano and the accompanying priestess of Saint Aldista - Nina Viento. The imperial family was forced to kneel before Nina. Karr's father was executed on the guillotine, and the era of the La Gir dynasty came to an end. His mother was imprisoned and later taken away to an unknown location. While in prison, Karr saw a plane flying in the sky and decided to become a pilot, vowing to take revenge on Nina Viento. At the age of 15, he joined the Kadokes air division together with Ariel. He fell in love with Claire Cruz at first sight, but after learning her real name, he became withdrawn, experiencing conflicting feelings. However, later he let go of his hatred, realizing that their feelings were stronger than the past, and led an expedition to free Claire Cruz.
