Рэкки Ханабиси has an older half-brother who was born as the first son of the Hokage clan leader. He was expected to inherit the clan title, but this was long disputed due to the poor background of his mother. Like Recca, he is able to command fire and capture the souls of the deceased using flames. He, for instance, utilizes the soul of Kurenai, his deceased lover, which has become part of Kurei's flames.
