Макина Хисаори

Синъи's older sister, who can easily alter the muscles and nerves on her face. She can change her appearance at will and can also mimic the personalities and habits of others. She tried to copy her brother, as her own identity suffered from her parents' attacks. Makina can be described as an empty being without a true identity, forcing her to wear the masks of others. Makina assumes the identity of her brother, Shinyi Hisaori, and becomes a perfect copy of him. Her imitation even surpassed the original, as she became an even better "Shinyi" than Shinyi himself. Shinyi had worked hard his whole life for popularity among his peers and was content with his status, but the copying Makina achieved more than he did. Ironically, those who once supported Shinyi soon shifted their allegiance to the new "Shinyi". Later, she devised a complex, psychology-based plan to drive Shinyi mad and kill her parents. After a course of treatment, she copied the personality of Arika, whom she met during her stay in the hospital. At the same time, Shinyi tried to take revenge on his sister by committing crimes under Arika's name, which led to his possible death. Left without any mask-like identity, Makina attempted to copy Kaye's personality as a final act of vengeance, but she fails and nearly perishes. Upon regaining her senses, after a brief dialogue with Kaye, Makina leaves the city.
