Рука Рэнгоку

Синдзюро Рэнгоку's wife, the mother of Kyojuro and Senjuro. In contrast to her loud and unrestrained husband, she is calm, polite, and wise. She had strong moral convictions. She taught the young Kyojuro that his life is very important and that strength is needed to protect the weak. Soon after the birth of her younger son, she fell ill and spent all her time bedridden. Her death was a serious blow to Shinjirou, who after that neglected to train his sons and turned to drinking.
