Takeru's best friend. The head of the swimming club. Wherever he can, he tries to help Takemoto in his efforts to open a store, carefully keeping his knowledge that his best friend works as a courier every day after school, delivering packages late into the night. He tries to relieve him of the heavy work. It is Ryo who helps save the first girl discovered in the forest. Later, the same incident with Takeru is repeated, and the second girl found seems to become a part of his life and family on her own.
