Сакаки

Сакаки, known as Giovanni in the English dub, is the leader of Team R and the manager of the Viridian City Gym in the Kanto region. He is portrayed as a serious, at times gruff, middle-aged man who holds high expectations for all his subordinates, except for Musashi and Kojiro, whom he assigns the dirtiest tasks. In the Pokémon Generations anime series, Sакаki has a son named Silver.
