Педро's son initially aspired to become a professional footballer but was unable to achieve this due to his young age. Later, he decided to pursue a career as a popular animator and moved to America, where he drew key frames for anime. He sent the money he earned back to his mother. However, when he discovered that his drawings were not actually being used in anime (since the content created in America cannot be considered Japanese animation), but were instead being sold on the black market, he returned to his original idea of pursuing a career in football.
