Soske is one of the survivors of the destroyed Otsuka village. He had no relatives, and Shino and Hamaji became his adopted siblings. He has a birthmark in the shape of a peony on the back of his head. After the incident in Otsuka village, he gained the ability to transform into Yoshiro's dog.
