Taiyura - Tizuru's adoptive brother, whom she rescued sixty years ago. According to Tizuru, Taiyura suffers from "sister complex." Initially, he is very jealous of Tizuru's relationship with Kota and angry that she revealed her true nature to him. However, later, wanting his sister's happiness, he accepts her relationship with Kota. Akane also feels jealous towards Kota, although they maintain a purely friendly relationship, and he denies any claims by Tizuru that he is in love with her. In the anime adaptation, he actively seeks ways to get closer to Asahina, but constantly fails.
