Мао's older brother travels the world to become the best chef with his Licktung. During his travels, he discovered an old recipe for Alolan stew and sent it to Mao. He later appears in the series to participate in the annual bread festival on Melemele Island. He is in love with Nao, but when he realizes she has a fiancé, he steps aside. In the end, he continues his journey.
