Норико's father was the commander of the fleet "Luxion", which was destroyed by alien forces. He was forced to spend most of his time in space, returning to Earth only on his daughter's birthday. During the attack on "Luxion", he gave the last escape seat to Koichiro Ota, sacrificing himself.
