Юри Китагава has buried the body of his deceased mother. Just when he thinks the ordeal is over, a girl named Anna Tōdō appears before him. She is aware that Yuuri killed his mother, but instead of reporting him to the authorities, she decides to assist him. When Yuuri asks why she is doing this, Anna tells him that she needs a "partner".
