Ямано is deeply in love with his classmate Саки Танигава, to the point that she occupies all his thoughts. One day, the spirit of Танигава herself, from the future, appears to him. She tells him that she has traveled through time to protect herself from death and change the impending future, and convinces him to assist her in solving this problem.
