Акэми Роппонги

Souseiki Godai's neighbor. She enjoys drinking and is often intoxicated. She has a habit of boldly wandering around the house in a semi-nude state. She has a romantic interest in Shun Mitaka, though she knows he is in love with Kyoko Otonashi. Akemi works as a waitress at the "Cha-Cha Maru" restaurant, where all the residents of the Ikkoku house often gather. At the end of the series, Akemi marries the master of the "Cha-Cha Maru" restaurant.
